Why do bees prefer it?

Pollen is a product that bees assemble from various flowers.  It is the richest natural food in concentrations of proteins, vitamins, essential amino-acids, hormones, ferments and other useful components, for our diet.

It has a high content in vitamin R (60mg/100gr pollen), which increases the resistance of the capillary vessels, protecting thus the organism from cerebral haemorrhaging.

It contains gonadotropic hormones that are the active biological substances to act directly on the reproductive glands, so much male as female. Spermatogenesis in the man and physiological development of the ovaries in the woman are determined considerably by the presence of these hormones.

It helps improve mental concentration.

It strengthens the constriction of the heart.

It has a diuretic attribute.

It improves the situation of individuals that have minor allergic reactions and helps them acquire a gradual resistance to the allergens.

It improves the treatment of prostatitis

It is rich in cysteine, an amino-acid that will help prevent hair loss and improve hair color.

It moderates and limits considerably the complications attributed to menopause.

It strengthens sexual desires.

It contains biologically active substances that influence positively the metabolism of water, the control of appetite, the deposition of fat in the body and the functioning of the thyroid gland.

Generally, it improves overall well-being and increases self-confidence.

The healthiest and most long-living people of the world are the residents of the Himalayas, the Caucasus in Russia, the mountains of Vilcambamba in Ecuador and the remote areas of the Mediterranean.  Most of them consume pollen in their daily diet.

What should the daily dosage of pollen be ?

Thirty five grams of pollen [one spoonful of soup] a day, will cover our daily needs in proteins, vitamins and trace elements.  The consumption of pollen should begin with a small quantity until our stomach gets used to it.  It is suggested to start off with a tablespoonful daily for roughly one week and then progressively increase the dosage to a soup spoonful a day.  The consumption of pollen should be continued without interruption for 4-6 months depending on the reaction of each individual’s body.
