Sage Honey
‘Μέλι Φασκόμηλο - Méli Faskómilo’This is a mild honey, with a mouth-warming hint of pepper and a smooth clean finish. Transluscent yellow in colour, the honey originates from sage that grew on the Parnonas Mountain range. This varietal blends well with any tea, and the sage components work well to cut the fattiness found in meats when cooking. Pairs well with rosemary, game, veal, and prosciutto, while it is a standard accompaniment to Parmesan or Manchego cheeses.
