Orange Blossom Honey

Orange blossom is a rare Greek honey. Enticing and surprising, this intensely lightly colored raw honey takes your senses on a journey through the orange grove.  It has a splendid perfume and exceptional flavour. Notes of citrus and the tangy rind are playfully intertwined in a not-too-sweet captivating finish.

The floral orange component lends itself to being paired with chocolate, cinnamon, custards, fennel, mint, salad greens, seafood, winter greens and vanilla.  It is produced amongst orange orchards found between ancient olive groves of the Laconian Province. It crystallizes within 1-3 months of production, and will take on a whitish coloration once it has crystallized.  It is rich in hesperidin, which has strong anti oxidative attributes.
