Mavrodaphne [A.O.C] [Μαυροδάφνη Ο.Π.Α.Π. - Mavrodàfni O.P.A.P.]Dark red to black grapes in color with a juicy flesh, of moderate size, hung from a blue dark-red coloured bark, produced on the seaside within evergreen shore vineyards of Coastal Patras and Cephalonian Island. This naturally sweet wine has a deep ruby color, and is matured in oak barrels for between two and eight years. Marvellous aromas are developed in the wine, with a feel for cherry, vanilla and dried fruit [especially raisins and chocolate].
